Happy Friday! Time to celebrate with this Blood Orange Mojito!

Mojitos are hands down my all time favorite drink. They are so refreshing, light and sweet. I’ve made a Holiday version with Cranberry and Pomegranate and a Classic Mint Mojito.

I took a short cut this time and used premade simple syrup. However you can easily make your own simple syrup at home. Simply boil equal parts sugar and water and cook until the sugar dissolves. Allow to cool and add to your mojito.

Blood oranges are rich in antioxidants and also a good source of fiber.

The blood orange gives the mojito a beautiful pink hue.
