Cashew Chicken

Skip the take-out line and make your own Asian-inspired Cashew Chicken in just 20 minutes!

Toss chicken in cornstarch

Add chicken and cornstarch to a large ziplock bag and toss to coat the chicken.

Saute chicken & cashews

Heat a skillet or wok. Toast cashews until golden, then remove. Add oil, sauté chicken for 3-4 minutes until browned.

Make sauce

While the chicken is cooking add soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil and hoisin sauce to a medium bowl.

Assemble

Add the sauce to the chicken and stir frequently. The sauce will thicken up pretty quickly. Add in red bell pepper and cook for 2-3 more minutes. Stir in cashews.

Serve immediately with green onions and sesame seeds for garnish.
