This Strawberry Tart is so simple yet so amazing. Balsamic and strawberries go perfectly together. I love easy desserts that look impressive and this Strawberry Tart is one of them. This tart comes together in minutes and requires only 4 ingredients!

To make this tart simply cut a sheet of thawed puff pastry dough into 4 portions. (You can also cook it as one sheet and cut into smaller portions after cooking). Arrange the strawberries on top and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden brown.

The Strawberry Tart gets a drizzle of balsamic reduction before serving. For the balsamic drizzle simply add balsamic vinegar and brown sugar to a small saucepan. Simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce has reduced by half. Keep warm until ready to use.

Serve the strawberry tart immediately with ice cream or whipped cream.

Ingredients

Strawberry Balsamic Tart

  • 1 16 ounce container of strawberries, sliced
  • 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry thawed
  • balsamic reduction recipe follows
  • ice cream or whipped cream for serving if desired

Balsamic Reduction

  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar

Instructions

Strawberry Balsamic Tart

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Cut puff pastry into 4 or 6 squares and place on a baking sheet lined with a silicon baking mat or parchment paper. Prick all over with a fork to keep the pastry from puffing up.
  3. Arrange strawberries on top.
  4. Bake rotating halfway through for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Serve immediately with a drizzle of balsamic reduction.
  6. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
