These Ham and Cheese Pinwheels are the perfect way to use up that leftover holiday ham! They are even good cold and would make a great work or a school lunch.

Add warm water to the bowl of the stand mixer with the dough hook attachment. Add in yeast and honey. Stir and allow it to rest for 5 minutes.

Add 2 cups of flour, salt, and oil. Knead for 3-4 minutes. Add remaining flour and knead until a smooth ball forms. Rest the dough for 1 hour, covered with plastic wrap.

Once the dough has been proofed roll out dough on floured surface to roughly 14 x 14 inches.

Cut slices of swiss in half and lay them out evenly on dough, followed by ham and grated cheddar. Roll into a log and cut into 12 even slices. Place in a greased 9 x 13 pan.

Brush on glaze and bake at 400 degrees until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Serve immediately and enjoy! These ham and cheese pinwheels make a great appetizer, lunch or dinner along with a side salad. Store leftovers in the fridge for up tp 4 days.
