Homemade lemon herb dressing. Tastes so much better than store-bought and is loaded with tons of fresh herbs!
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Juice of 1 whole lemon
- 3 1/2 oz extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp dill
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp pepper
Place garlic and lemon juice in a medium bowl. In a slow steady stream pour the oil into the bowl while whisking vigorously. You will begin to see your dressing thicken up and become smooth and glossy. Next whisk in your herbs, salt and pepper. Allow dressing to sit at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to develop. Shake vigorously before serving.
Chef's Note: After the dressing is in the fridge it may become gelatinous take out a couple minutes before serving and shake vigorously or whisk until smooth again.
