Naan bread is a delicious, pillowy flatbread that's perfect for scooping up your favorite dips or pairing with curries. This easy recipe uses only four simple ingredients, making this naan a breeze to whip up at home!
1/4cupolive oil, plus more for frying the naan bread
1garlic clove, minced
chopped cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
In a large bowl add flour, yogurt, baking powder and salt.
Mix to form a dough ball, I find mixing with your hands works best.
Form into a disc then place on a lightly floured surface.Cut into 8 equal pieces.Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
Roll each dough ball to 1/4 inch thick rounds.
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a small skillet. Once hot add in naan bread and cook for 1-2 minutes per side. Make sure to keep an eye on it because they cook quickly.
Make garlic oil: In a medium saucepan add the olive oil and garlic. Cook over medium high heat until the garlic is golden brown.Remove from heat then brush on top of the naan bread.Sprinkle with kosher salt and fresh cilantro and enjoy!
