Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients
Garlic Cheese Biscuits
1 1/2cupsall purpose flour
1/2tablespoonbaking powder
1/4teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
3/4cupsharp cheddar cheese, shredded
4tbspcold unsalted butter,, cut into cubes
3/4cupmilk
1tablespoonlemon juice
Garlic Herb Butter
2tablespoonunsalted butter, melted
1garlic clove, minced
1/2teaspoondried parsley
Instructions
Garlic Cheese Biscuits
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.Stir milk and lemon juice together in a small bowl. Sit for 5-10 minutes or until milk begins to curdle.
Add flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, shredded cheddar cheese and butter to a food processor fitted with the blade attachment. Pulse for 5 seconds or until the mixture looks like loose crumbs.Pour in milk mixture and pulse for another 5 seconds.
Scoop 1/4 cup of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
As soon as the biscuits come out of the oven drizzle with garlic herb butter. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Garlic Herb Butter
Combine all three ingredients together in a small bowl. Set aside until ready to use.
Notes
Make your own buttermilk. In this recipe, we're mixing milk with fresh lemon juice for an easy, budget-friendly substitute for buttermilk that tastes even better than store-bought.Keep portions even. Use a ¼ cup measuring cup or ice cream scoop for perfectly sized biscuits every time. I like this one! If you have trouble getting the batter out of the measuring cup simply spray with some non-stick cooking spray.
