 Mashed Potatoes

These Creamy Mashed Potatoes make the perfect Thanksgiving side dish.

COOK POTATOES

Peel and cut potatoes into chunks. Add them to a pot filled will cold water. Add bay leaf and sprinkle with salt. Boil for 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Drain and transfer them back to the pot. Discard bay leaf.

Mix wet ingredients

Add the softened butter and mash the potatoes until smooth and lump free.

ADD MILK

Add in the sour cream and heavy cream and continue mashing. Add in the milk, stir then add in the remaining milk as needed.

Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
