Hashbrown Casserole

This Hashbrown Casserole is the perfect brunch or holiday breakfast!

Saute onion & garlic

Preheat oven to 350F. Melt butter over medium high heat in a saucepan. Add in onion and saute for 4 minutes.  Add in garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Mix wet ingredients

Add flour and cook for 1 minute, then whisk in broth, milk, Dijon, Worcestershire, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly, for about 4-5 minutes.

Add cheese

Remove from the heat and add in 2 cups cheddar cheese. Whisk until all of the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Stir in sour cream.

Assemble

Layer the hash browns in a 13 x 9 casserole dish. Pour the cheese mixture on top. Top with 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese.

Bake

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

Allow the casserole to rest for 10-15 minutes before serving!
