Homemade Cheez It’s

These Homemade Cheez It’s are a lovely version of the classic snack, offering a fresh, cheesy flavor with a satisfying crunch!

Make dough

01

Add in the cold milk or water then mix for another minute or so or until the dough starts to come together.

Refrigerate

02

Form the dough into a disc. Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper, set aside.

Roll dough

03

Transfer the dough to a floured work surface. Cut it in half then roll out into a rectangle that's about 1/8 inch thick. Using a pastry cutter or a knife cut into long strips.

Bake

04

Cur the strips into  1-inch squares. Using a chop stick poke a hole into the center of each cracker. Bake for 15 minutes or until they start to look golden brown.

Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a couple minutes on the baking sheet before enjoying! Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 week!
