Bacon Cheddar Biscuits

Bacon Cheddar Biscuits loaded with crispy bacon, chives, sharp cheddar cheese, and garlic!

MIX DRY INGREDIENTS

In a large bowl combine cooked bacon, flour, chives, cheddar cheese, baking powder, baking soda, salt, onion and garlic powder.

ADD WET INGREDIENTS

Grate frozen butter using a cheese grater. Stir into the dry ingredients. Add buttermilk and stir until combined. Make sure not to overmix.

CUT OUT BISCUITS

Roll out dough into a 1 1/4 inch thick rectangle. Cut out 16 biscuits using a 2 inch biscuit cutter, then place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for 30 minutes.

BAKE

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Remove the biscuits from the freezer and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown

Serve warm!
