Share these Chocolate Frosted Brownies on all occasions: birthdays, holidays, or Valentine’s Day!

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x9 pan with parchment and spray with cooking spray. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, cooking until caramel-colored, 5-10 minutes.

Pour browned butter into a bowl along with both sugars, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder. Stir until combined and allow to rest for 5 minutes to cool the mixture down.

Stir in the eggs and vanilla and mix until. Fold in the flour and stir until combined. (Do not over mix). Add in the chocolate chunks or chips and stir until combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is set and a toothpick comes out clean.

Allow the brownies to cool completely before frosting. Cut into 9 brownies.

Add butter to a stand mixer with the whisk attachment. Beat until fluffy. Add in cocoa powder, confectioners sugar, milk and vanilla extract. Beat until thick and creamy.
