Sometimes it’s hard to pick sweet or savory! Why not have both?! Make my Garlic Mashed Sweet Potatoes or my Cinnamon Nut Mashed Sweet Potatoes!

Add the diced potatoes to a large pot and cover with water. Sprinkle with salt and bring the water to a boil. Cook the potatoes for 15-20 minutes or until fork tender.

Drain really well and add the potatoes back to the pot. Add in butter and mash potatoes. Add in the heavy cream and continue mashing until they are lump-free.
Serve immediately as is or with any of the toppings in the next slides.
Add in the garlic, parsley and parmesan cheese. Season with pepper to taste and serve with additional parsley for garnish.
Toast walnuts for 2-3 minutes in butter over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat add brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Sprinkle over mashed sweet potatoes and serve!
