Tomato Tart 

This Tomato Tart is perfect served as an appetizer or even as an entree with a side salad!

Mix ricotta mixture

Preheat oven to 400F. Place the defrosted puff pastry on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. Let it cool completely. Combine the ingredients for the cheese spread in a bowl, and season with salt and pepper.

Spread ricotta

Spread herb ricotta mixture onto cooled puff pastry leaving a 1-inch crust around the edges.

Add tomatoes

Top with sliced heirloom tomatoes and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.

Slice and serve immediately with basil for garnish, if desired.
