Add sugar and water to a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat and cook until sugar is fully dissolved. Let it cool.
Add apples, oranges, and strawberries to a large pitcher.
Add in red wine, brandy, pomegranate juice and cooled simple syrup and stir. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
