Skip traditional frying and use the air fryer to make this Chicken Parmesan!

Cut each chicken breast in half so you have four thin chicken breasts. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

Add four in one shallow bowl, add egg to another bowl, and mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, and Italian seasoning, garlic powder and onion powder.

Starting with the flour and ending with the breadcrumbs dip the chicken into the flour, egg and then parmesan breadcrumbs.

Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Grease the rack with nonstick spray. Cook chicken in batches for 5 minutes, flip, spray, and cook for 4-5 more minutes. Top with mozzarella and cook for 2-3 minutes until melted.

Top with warmed tomato sauce.
Serve with fresh basil or parsley for garnish!
