The Best 5 Ingredient Oat Bars

Banana and oats has got to be one of my favorite combinations. One of my favorite treats are my banana oatmeal cookies, make with just 6 ingredients! This time, I have made them in bar form with just 5 ingredients.

These 5 ingredients banana oat bars are perfectly chewy, with just the right amount of sweetness from the chocolate. Plus, they are packed with protein from the peanut butter and loaded with fiber from the oats!

These nutritious bars are popular among adults and kids alike! You can make these for an on-the-go snack or a simple, delicious dessert option.

    Ingredients Needed

    • Bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter they will be!
    • Old Fashioned Oats: It is best to use old-fashioned oats here. Quick oats would also wok but will create a softer bar that isn’t as chewy!
    • Creamy Peanut Butter: Creamy peanut butter is my favorite here, but you can use your favorite creamy nut butter!
    • Vanilla: For added flavor.
    • Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips: Most of the sweetness comes from the chocolate chips! If you want them extra sweet, you can use milk chocolate chips instead.
