Blood Orange Mojito made with fresh mint, simple syrup, blood orange and lime juice. The perfect cocktail for any occasion!
Happy Friday! Time to celebrate with this Blood Orange Mojito!
I took a short cut this time and used premade simple syrup. However you can easily make your own simple syrup at home. Simply boil equal parts sugar and water and cook until the sugar dissolves. Allow to cool and add to your mojito.
Do you guys like Blood Oranges as much as I do? They are amazing and currently in season! I saw them at the grocery store and grabbed them right away.
Blood oranges are rich in antioxidants and also a good source of fiber.
This Blood Orange Mojito is tart from the fresh lime juice and orange and sweet from the simple syrup. Super refreshing and loaded with citrus flavor.
The blood orange gives the mojito a beautiful pink hue.
This cocktail takes less than 5 minutes to make. Simply, muddle the mint and the lime juice together in a glass. Top with rum, blood orange juice and simple syrup. Top with the sparkling water and enjoy!
