Healthy Greek Yogurt Guacamole
This Healthy Greek Yogurt Guacamole takes less than 10 minutes to make and is the perfect appetizer. Serve with tortilla chips or veggies for dipping!
Have you guys tried Trader Joe’s reduced guilt guacamole? It is AMAZING!! It’s super creamy and tastes just like guacamole with less calories. They add Greek Yogurt to their guacamole which lowers the calories and adds tons of protein.
I decided to make my own version at home. Greek yogurt, avocado, lime juice, cilantro, red onion and jalapeno were added to make a rich and creamy guacamole. The Greek yogurt adds about 6 grams of protein to this recipe and gives it a super creamy texture. My favorite snack just got a bit healthier.
This guacamole is extra smooth, rich and creamy thanks to the super thick Greek yogurt. I love serving this guacamole with my homemade tortilla chips.
Jalapeños are added for a little bit of spice as well as red onion for some color. This salsa is not overly spicy by any means. Just a little kick. You can add the seeds of the jalapeno if you are looking for a spicier guacamole.
Wash this guacamole down with my Classic Margarita or Mojito!

How to make Healthy Greek Yogurt Guacamole
This guacamole is so easy to make. Simply combine chunks of ripe avocado, Greek yogurt, red onion, jalapeno, fresh cilantro, tomatoes and lime juice in a medium bowl. Stir to combine. Make sure not to mash up the avocado too much. I like those big healthy chunks of avocado. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately with veggies or tortilla chips for dipping! The guacamole is best enjoyed within 2-3 hours or making it!
